Making a purchase could not be easier. Start by browsing the store. The main sections of the shop are listed down the left hand side. Click on one of these and you will see all the items available in that section in the main, right hand, panel. You can see where you are in the store at any time by looking at the line below the main title. You can return to the opening page of the store by either clicking on 'Online Catalogue' or by clicking on 'Store Top' in the top navigation bar.
If you find an item you'd like to buy you can add it to the shopping cart by clicking on the 'Add to Cart' button below each item in the store. You will see the shopping cart briefly after each addition so you can keep track on how much you are ordering. At any point up to the checkout you can take items out of the cart or add new items in. Only when you are happy with your selections do you click on 'Checkout' in the top navigation bar. Then you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. You'll be guided all the way by instructions on your screen asking you to enter things like your name and address, where you want your order delivering to and how you want to pay. Once you've completed the checkout procedure you'll see a receipt on your screen, which you can print. You'll then receive an e-mail to confirm that we've received your order.
If any of the items in your order are not in stock, we will let you know when we expect to be able to send them. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Despatch We despatch your order as soon as possible, normally within 5 working days. Orders are posted by First Class Mail to addresses in the UK and by Airmail to destinations elsewhere. Delivery to UK addresses should be within 1-2 working days after despatch but please note that delivery to some areas of the UK such as the Highlands and Islands may take a little longer.
Payment You can pay in two ways: we accept card payment online through PayPal. You can either use a PayPal account, if you have one, or you can use a credit or debit card. You can also select 'Invoice and Payment Before Delivery' - this means that I will send you an invoice which you can return to me with a cheque or with credit/debit card details. Once one of these is received then I will despatch your order to you. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to be despatched.
Notes: When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
If you want to look at something on the main Stone Creek Silk web site and then come back to the shop, anything you have put in your shopping cart will be remembered. You can see a summary (number of items and amount) of the cart contents at any time by looking at the box on the top right of your screen, or you can see the detailed shopping cart by clicking on ' View Cart' on the top navigation bar.
